JK is currently a Senior Architect at BIG NYC. She collaborated during four years in the office of Rafael Moneo in Madrid, Spain. She has also worked at AMO/OMA in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Diller Scofidio + Renfro in New York, New York, Buro Happold Engineers in London, UK, and William Rawn Associates in Boston, Massachusetts.
JK received a Master in Architecture with Distinction in 2007 from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. At the GSD she received the Faculty Design Award as well as the Araldo Cossutta Award for Excellence in Design Core Prize. She graduated from MIT in 2002 with a degree in architecture, winning the MIT Faculty Design Award.
She is the 2015 recipient of the Rotch Travelling Scholarship. She has previously taught architectural design at the IE University in Spain, and the Harvard GSD Career Discovery program.
